Keeping it COOL: The what, why and how of Modern Refrigeration


The goal of this course is to educate architects and kitchen designers about modern refrigeration, the multitude of configurations available for their clients and the energy and installation factors that they should keep in mind when specifying refrigeration products.

Learning Objectives:

1.   Understand the basics of how a refrigerator works and review the different types of refrigeration systems available.

2.   Learn about the latest refrigeration technology; how best to store food for optimal food preservation.

3.   Understand different refrigerator configurations; find the perfect refrigerator based on the consumer’s style preference, usage and budget.

4.   Learn what the Energy Star rating means for refrigeration, upcoming changes, and some of the challenges these guidelines present from the manufacturing side.

Join us at the Madison hotel in historic Morristown for our last CEU of the year.  We will gather in the “Coach” room for lite appetizers and networking (cash bar). After visiting our sponsor and mingling we will transition to the “Victorian Suite” for a lovely 3 Course sit down Dinner (Gluten Free / Vegan option available upon request) while our speaker from Monogram presents a program about refrigeration.  This course is IDCEC, NKBA and AIA certified, so tell your industry friend to join us.  Dessert and coffee to follow presentation.
